Yes there are possibilities that the relaxer can break your hair if its been over processed or hasn’t been applied properly. Also choosing the wrong strength of a relaxer e.g. instead of using a medium strength people would rather use super strength which can over process the hair, that why its better to have it done professionally in a salon so that the hair can be analysed and a correct strength can be used.
