Question: Hi There – I’ve Heard That Home CIT Rollers Are Good To Use As Part Of A Skin-care Regime. I’m In My Early 30s So Am Starting To See Fine Lines, And Have Rather Large Pores. I’m Quite Keen To Get A Roller, But Just Wanted To Find Out If They Are Effective For My Needs (anti-ageing And Tightening Pores) And Safe To Use At Home? Thanks!

Hi there. Thank-you for your enquiry. You are absolutely correct. Home rollers are extremely effective in increasing product penetration, improving fine lines and wrinkles and improving skin texturing. It is however extremely important to make sure you are rolling with good quality products and serums (if you intend rolling over your active products), so HA serums, growth factor serums or anti-ageing products need to be appropriate for rolling. I would not advise rolling in your “over the counter” products. You also need to be sure that you are using a quality roller. There are SO MANY rollers out there, that are not appropriate for home use and have issues like, needles made from inappropriate metals, needles being blunt, uneven or even bent, resulting in ripping the skin.
