Answer

Hi Hestor

Have you tried anything in the Smash box range? I found their highlighters and illuminators so much fun to work with because they have a range for all skin types. It’s cream based so it smooths on easily and it stays on which is a bonus if you are wearing it at night. There are also lovely illuminators in the Inglot and Mac ranges. You want to look out for a product that comes from a house that also does fashion work. This is bound to give you minimal product with maximum effect.

Eyeshadows

Question

I find eyeshadows daunting. So many colours and I don’t really know what to do with them or how to pair them to create a look. I would like to know, what colours do you recommend for dark brown eyes and a medium to dark complexion. Could I also go with bold colours like yellows, pinks, purples, blues…? I really like the smoky eye look.

I wanted to know how you got into the business and how ordinary women like myself can learn from professionals for our own faces. Thank you.
