Hi Megan!
I would recommend the following:
a primer – to make sure your makeup lasts throughout the event
concealer – cover the areas you feel are darker (under the eyes for e.g)
foundation – apply it on all areas to the face, make sure your foundation is matched to your neck (very important! especially if you’re wearing a strapless dress) rather than your face
bronzer – use this to highlight under your cheeks, outside edges of the forehead and jawline. If youre wearing a strapless gown, apply bronzer to your cleavage and to your collar bones on your neck. Use a pink cream blush, to give you a fresh look.
on the eyes – apply a cream or peach colour shadow, and use a liquid liner in either black (dramatic) or brown (natural). Follow with 2 coats of black mascara.
Use a lip balm with a tint of red, and follow with a dab of red lipstick . You want the lip colour to look natural, not bold.
This look will suit the afternoon and the evening, and looks gorgeous!
Congratulations on the wedding, I’m sure you will look perfect.
