I am tempted to bleach my hair. Is it safe for me to do at home? And if so, do you have any tips for me?

Answer

I would recommend that you go to a professional hairdresser for this bleaching (decolorizing) service. It can cause excessive dryness, brittleness and an awful color result if you try this on your own. When one lightens the hair, one has to apply the correct color afterwards to neutralize the yellow that the bleaching will lighten to. This is best done by a professional.
