Question
I have natural dredlocks for 28 months, my problem is dandruff and breakage around the hair line. Please help?

Answer
Hello Thokozani
My recommendation is to ensure that your scalp is kept super clean with weekly shampooing and treating it using Dark and Lovely 3 in 1 shampoo followed by an application of Dark and Lovely ULTRA Cholesterol to intensely nourish your naturally dry hair. The breakage is coming from the way that your dreds are being locked. Way too tight on the finer hair around the hairline. Ensure that this is done less aggressively and with less stress and pulling on the hair.
Warm regards
Heidi

Question
Hey. OK so am an African lady. Recently have been having very bad hair days. I have relaxed hair, and my hair is the very coarse, thick and bushy type when it’s natural. Recently my hair has been breaking pretty bad. So I was thinking of cutting the relaxed hair, to like remove every bit of it, go bold and start afresh keeping my hair naturally. What tips or hints do u advise? I want to keep it natural for like two years. Will relax it then. My goal is to have like hair that reaches my mid-back. Is it possible for African hair to grow this long? Please assist.

Question
Hi Heidi, I have very dry hair, is there a moisturiser you can recommend? I already use olive and coconut oil, but they’re not doing the trick. I need a good water-based moisturiser. Do you have any recommendations?
