If You Have A Bit Of A Problem Skin Should You Really Be Using

Question

If you have a bit of a problem skin should you really be using moisturizer, sunscreen, primer, and then make-up on top of it? Isn’t this too much stuff? Is there a better solution that might be lighter and easier on the skin?

Answer

Hi Bronwyn, it does sound like alot of creams and basing products to apply to your skin if it’s sensitive or it’s prone to breakouts. What you could try is using a tinted moisturiser or a foundation with a good SPF level and then other makeup. I found Avon’s solutions tinted moisturiser a big winner in the 2 for 1 department because it has a SPF 20 as well as a moisturiser and you can then apply a light cover up over it without your skin feeling too clogged. Unfortunately a primer especially in summer is a must-have to prevent your make-up from running so finding little solutions always help.

Eyeshadows

Question

I find eyeshadows daunting. So many colours and I don’t really know what to do with them or how to pair them to create a look. I would like to know, what colours do you recommend for dark brown eyes and a medium to dark complexion. Could I also go with bold colours like yellows, pinks, purples, blues…? I really like the smoky eye look.
