Paco Rabanne

Paco Rabanne was born in 1934 in Spain. He fled the Spanish Civil War with his mother as a young boy and moved to France, where he continued to live. He studied architecture but later had an interest in fashion, and created couture for some of the biggest fashion houses, including Balenciaga, Nina Ricci and Givenchy. He showed his first collection in 1966 and by 1969 he created his first fragrance. Although he retired from the fashion industry in 1999, the brand lives on and continues to embody the Paco Rabanne spirit.
