Why we love old school perfumes
I do believe a beautiful bottle and well marketed packaging aids a lot in the selling proses of fragrances, especially if the designs are vintage inspired… from the late 1800’s :-)

I attended the launch of La Panthere de Cartier fragrance at Sandton City last year. The dynamics of why and how the bottle has the shape of a Panther was very interesting! The cat look, the Perfumer, the package, the bottle, well what else can I say, the fragrance smells absolutely divine!

Jean Paul Gaultier bottles are very cute but one of my all-time faves is J-Lo – Glow. The bottle with the little diamante necklace is so suave and classic

I always feel too sad to throw my bottles away after the perfume is finished! They’re like little works of art!!

Wow, the most attractive bottles, and the steep prices that go with them. I still rather stay with my brand and that is Estee Lauder White Linen. Lingers the whole day.

If the bottle is beautiful and attracting it’s worth trying the scent a bonus if the scent is amazing

The scent, of course is most important but as the others have alredy said, if the bottle is attractive, I’m more inclined to try it

I buy a fragrance for it’s scent, but if it’s in a beautiful bottle, I would probably reach for it more.
It’s quite an indulgent purchase for me so if I spend that kind of money on designer fragrances, it better look the part, too.

For me the most timeless purfume is J’dore!
The bottle is so simplisticly beautifull and feminine without being presumptuous or overdone which allows me to actually appreciate the scent that it holds

If the bottle catches my eye, I try the scent.
