Fresh and citrus fragrances are exactly what their name suggests – fresh. They are typically light and airy, and offer a subtle scent rather than a strong scent. Often vibrant and zesty, citrus fragrances capture the bright notes associated with citrus fruits.
The fresh fragrance family consists of citrus scents, green scents and aquatic scents. All slightly different in nature, the similarities are strong. The fragrances in the fresh family are all lively, light, pure and undeniably fresh. They are best suited to summer and spring as they are extremely refreshing and perhaps too light for the colder months.
Citrus scents are primarily made up of citrus fruit notes such as lemons, oranges and mandarins. Green scents, on the other hand, are filled with fresh herbs, plants and leaves. Aquatic scents usually contain some elements of sea water, fresh air and the beach.
