By far the most common and popular of all fragrances, florals are loved by both older and younger women. Florals can consist of a single note or a complex bouquet of different flowers.
Simpler than some of the other fragrance families, florals are mostly made up of notes from different flowers, but form part of all the other families too. You will seldom come across a scent that does not have at least one floral note.
Because of this, the variety in scents is incredibly large. They can be soft, strong, sweet or spicy – it just depends on the other notes added to them. Some of the most common floral notes include rose, jasmine, patchouli and lily. Whatever your type of floral, one thing is certain – this is by far the most feminine of the fragrance families!
