July’s new buys

Tuesday, 10 July 2012

With so many new products going on sale each month, it’s hard to figure out which ones you should hit or miss. Each month we bring you a selection of the latest products on our radar…

July's best buys!

Revlon Nail Art Break-Up, R89.95

Who needs a messy break-up? Revlon’s new dual-ended nail polish creates a funky crackle effect without any messy extras (so put down that toothpick). One side of the nail polish tube contains a cream colour and the opposite side the crackle topcoat. Revlon’s Nail Art Break-Up is available in eight colour combinations with crazy titles: Steamy Affair, Heart Break, Love Hurts, Cruel Intentions, Star Crossed, Ice Queen, Killer Instincts and Fatal Attraction.
Available at selected pharmacies and department stores.

Redken Chromatics, prices will very depending on salon

With ZERO ammonia, Redken’s new permanent hair colour makes use of a special oil delivery system and protein extract technology that infuses protein extracts and long-lasting colour dyes into each hair strand. It’s a prismatic permanent colour, which means your colour won’t look flat or dull by delivering multi-dimensional results.
Available at Redken approved salons.

Ferrari Red Power, R495 for 75ml EDT

This new fragrance is dedicated to the authentic Ferrari man – strong, charismatic, masculine and magnetic. If it’s anything like the previous Ferrari Red fragrance you can expect your guy to be driven by passion.
Available at all leading retailers from 23 July.

Clarins HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase, R535 for 30ml

Clarins are calling their new HydraQuench range an SOS treatment for dehydrated skin – basically long-lasting moisture without a shiny or oily residue. The Intensive Serum Bi-Phase contains active ingredients to help restore your skin’s natural hydration capabilities while maintaining a matte finish.
Available at Clarins counters nationwide.

Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel, R495 for 50ml

Also part of Clarins’ SOS hydrating range, the cream-gel is available for normal and combination skin types as well as skins exposed to hot climates. Once applied, the cream-gel is supposed to have a cooling effect on the skin while tightening pores.
Available at Clarins counters nationwide.

Thierry Mugler Miroir Des Voluptés, R1,195 for 50ml

The Mirror of Delights eau de parfum is a luxurious swirl of Bulgarian rose and orange blossom, agarwood, and sandalwood and patchouli. If the fragrance notes don’t resonate with you, then get it simply for the bottle’s Art Deco design.
Available at Stuttafords stores nationwide.

Redken Chromatics sounds like an awesome product, normal hair dyes look good in the beginning but then become dull and makes your hair look unhealthy, the Redken Chromatics sounds amazing, far from dull and dry, more like shiny and colour lasts longer, can’t wait to go to the salon and ask for Redken Chromatics:-)
