Ladies, admit it – we’ve all drooled over the gorgeous men in male fragrance adverts, and then specifically remembered that scent for the man advertising it, right? How many of us have bought our man a fragrance that we might not have usually considered, but because the ad campaign is so appealing, we couldn’t help but give it a try? Actors, singers or male models, the gorgeous men of the fragrance world sure know how to do what they do best – sell the product. Here, a list of our favourite drool-worthy ads:
Danny Fuller for Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême
This black and white ad shows surfer Danny Fuller riding hugely scary waves to perfection. The sounds of the ocean + gorgeously toned body + French accent reading out the name of the scent = Perfection. Chanel gets it right every time!
Jarrod Scott for Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male
This Italo-German has an Australian nationality and is a mere 23 years old… But don’t let that put you off! Not only does he have a body to-die-for, but an impressive resume including work for Vogue, Balenciaga and Givenchy doesn’t hurt either.
David Beckham for Homme by David Beckham
Football legend, underwear model, successful businessman and devoted family man… Could we ever find a fault in David Beckham? It’s only fit that he should be the model for his own fragrances and we love the serious side he brings out in this ad campaign. Posh Spice is one lucky lady!
Matthew McConaughey for Dolce & Gabbana The One
Need we say more? This man seems to get more attractive by the day. Those lips, the stare, the broad shoulders… Perfection from D & G!
Sean O’Pry for Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb
This successful model was signed by Calvin Klein as well as being named the world’s most successful male model by Forbes in 2009. And after watching this ad, it’s easy to see why. His chiselled features and muscular body make him the perfect candidate to represent this explosive scent.
Orlando Bloom for Hugo Boss Boss Orange
There aren’t many men who can make elf ears look good… We loved sexy Orlando in Lord of the Rings, and we love him in Hugo Boss ads. Carefree, laidback and effortlessly attractive, we think he’s the perfect pick for this yummy scent.
Which is your favourite, Beauties?
