A hair hero in the tool kits of hair pros for decades, the longevity of this hairspray is remarkable. It’s been around for almost 60 years and remains one of the world’s top selling hairsprays. Its winning formula means it does actually brush out (a claim made by so many hairsprays, which in reality leave you with sticky, crunchy locks that need washing before that stubborn spray will go away).
Try using this spray (or its volumising counterpart in the Elnett range) for oodles of oomph on long hair. Spray over large-ish sections of hair before you curl them with a heated tong, and then cool each section down quickly with a spritz or two of the spray. Now brush your hair all the way through from the ends to the roots for volume. This won’t give you defined curls or messy waves but rather big, sexy hair with tons of volume. After you’ve smoothed your hair into place, finish off with a little more spray to set all the little wayward hairs in place.
