Proverb’s grooming tips

Proverb's grooming tipsIf you too want to look as good as a hip-hop artist, then follow Proverb’s tips. He may be a rapper but he’s also the man who made us rush home for Idols, and he still manages to take the time to care for his skin.

‘I have to take extra care of my face. I have pretty bad skin, so I use Johnson & Johnson in the morning to try to reduce oil and achieve an even skin tone,’ he says. But when it comes to treatments, he loves a good massage.

Proverb keeps his hairstyle fresh and in the family by letting his wife (sorry ladies) do the honours. ‘I love the attention to detail she pays while shaving my head.’

‘Nothing beats a healthy diet, plenty of water and enough rest,’ Proverb adds. ‘Find out which products work for your skin type. Try a few brands to see which give you the best results. I like to stick with a simple cleanser due to my sensitive skin. Guys are particularly sweaty and hairy, so it’s okay to Veet the pits and the, er, can I say pubes?’
