Jo Malone’s limited-edition David Hicks candles

Wednesday, 5 October 2011

Cologne queen Jo Malone has teamed up with Brit design house David Hicks to create a limited-edition collection of scented candles. Of the three art-deco darlings, we’re most in love with the Lime, Basil & Mandarin candle.

Jo-Malone-David-Hicks-Lime-Candle
Its fragrance was inspired by the smell of limes carried on a Caribbean ocean breeze and is Jo’s signature scent.

Love its zexy green geometric print? David Hicks calls it Riveria.

At R655, these babies don’t come cheap, but they promise to burn for up to 45 hours – and look utterly fabulous even when they’re not.

Sounds absolutely lovely. But yes, pretty pricey. Suppose it makes it a good reason to cook up a fancy dinner and host at your place so people can drool over your food and candles :)

One problem with Jo Malone products, THE PRICE, it’s really not worth the money honestly, you only pay for the name because the candles itself is nothing to go gaga about.
