    You can use a dry ballpoint pen as well.
    I used toothpicks as a dotting tool before as well. :) to make pollka dot nails.

    Hi Azraa & Diva. An easy way to create this look without a professional dotting tool is to use a pin. Push a pin into an eraser so that you have a solid handle, dot the head of the pin into your nail varnish and lightly press it onto your nails – works like a charm!
