If you’ve been avoiding jeans in the workplace because you think they can’t look smart, this is the inspiration you need. When paired with a sophisticated shirt or jacket, jeans can look just as smart as any other pair of trousers, which was what we wanted to prove with our second Levi’s® look: work wear. We dressed Lauren Davids in a pair of Levi’s® 501® CT’s and glammed her up for the office.

“I would normally wear my 501® jeans with a pair of flats and a comfortable top and jacket, which is suitable for work. I would also try to dress it up by accessorising,” says Lauren. For her Levi’s® 501® CT work look we took it a step further by dressing her in a smart white button-down shirt, tan-coloured winter cape and nude heels. A statement necklace completed the look.

For the office look we think the true-to-size sizing option works best, so we elevated it by choosing a heel instead of flats, and sticking to a classic top.

“I loved the outfit I wore for the shoot. The jeans were so comfortable and versatile, allowing us to easily create different looks. I would definitely purchase one of my own. Everything I wore, I would definitely choose for myself.”

If you don’t have a cape, a sleek blazer or smart coat will work just as well. Remember to tuck your shirt in so as to show off the 501® CT’s classic button detail (and a belt if you like).

“I loved how the Levi’s® are so comfortable to wear and extremely versatile. You can wear them loose fitting or tighter to create different looks. The jean material was soft and distressed, making them extremely comfortable to wear. I would definitely invest in a pair for myself!”
