10 must-have beauty products for glowing skin 1

Still trying to achieve that sought-after dewy glow? Join the club! We all know drinking tw0 litres of water and getting eight hours of sleep isn’t always possible. Luckily you can fake it ’till you make it. Add these products to your beauty routine on those days when you’re feeling anything but well-rested and radiant (A.K.A Monday to Sunday).

1) BioNike Radiance Milk Cleanser, R139,95

Start with a clean canvas. Cleanse and restore your skin’s natural glow with this product that doubles as a great make-up remover and all ’round beauty enhancer.

2) Pond’s Flawless Radiance Visibly Even Tone Day Cream, R120

A really good face cream goes a long way. Add this silky day cream to your routine for a gorgeous, even tone. A BSA reader favourite. This extra nourishing, rejuvenating night cream helps repair daily skin damage and actively brightens skin.

3) Max Factor Smooth Miracle Primer, R219

Create a smooth base for even foundation application. This bad boy primes and smooths the appearance of skin and creates a perfect layer between your moisturiser and the good stuff (A.K.A make-up).

4) Lancôme Teint Miracle Radiant Foundation, R599

Science and beauty combine to create the perfect foundation. Because the beauties at Lancôme know light is not only reflected on the surface of your skin – it is also naturally re-emitted from deep within the skin – they’ve created a product containing bioptic pigments and Aura-Inside (TM) Technology. Together they help maximise your inner light and create a natural glow.

5) Catrice Re – Touch Light Reflecting Concealer, R79,95

Fake a well-rested appearance and hide imperfections with this nifty concealer stick. You’ll love the light, creamy texture, perfect for the sensitive skin around your eyes. It’s also said to be light-reflecting, so it great for covering those dark under-eye circles.

6) L.A Girl Strobe Lite Strobing Powder, R149

Keep your make-up routine light and opt for strobing instead of the potentially cakey contouring technique. You’re looking for light and glowy, remember? Here’s more on this fab strobing powder. Complete the look with a hint of blush. Try the L.A Glow Blush Collection to give your cheeks a touch of pink for a faux glow that will rival Rihanna on any red carpet.

7) Physicians Formula Powder Palette with Mineral Glow Pearls, R280

If you’re looking for that one product to dust on and get glowing, opt for a palette like this that contains an array of colours for a more natural and varied glow that’ll look luminous when the light hits. Enriched with real mineral pearls extract, you can blur imperfections and create an instant radiant complexion. Just dust lightly on your cheekbones.

8) Chanel Longwear Cream Eyeshadow in Silver Pink, R720

Because the thought of Chanel leaves us feeling instantly awake and glowy. This highly pigmented, long wear eyeshadow will provide the perfect hint of colour to complement your ‘natural’ glow and dewy complexion.

9) Vita Liberata Body Blur, R1030

If you want that flawless complexion to transcend and match an overall glow, you might want to try Hollywood’s new favourite body make-up. Even celebs don’t just wake up looking naturally airbrushed, you know. Give your skin a quick-fix tint and mask imperfections with this body primer packed with organic extracts. Head to Vitaliberata for more!

10) Glow up essential: The scrub down. It’s important to focus on healthy skin above all, because layering your skin with many products will leave you feeling anything but glowing. We love the Remington Cleansing Brush for the ultimate skin overhaul.

If we’re listing glow-up favourites, we absolutely have to include the Sisley Instant Glow Primer and the NYX Liquid Illuminator. Perfect for those days when you don’t have time to create a full-face make-up look or when you’re searching for that ‘natural’ luminous glow.

  1. The Lancome foundation is great. Beautiful glowing skin instantly. The only problem is the shades are limited for medium skin tones.

  2. The L.A. Girl strobing powder is a win!
For someone who is devoted to my MAC Soft & Gentle, the L.A .Girl strobing powder for only R149 is bomb – and *blinding*.
I got the soft pink shade – but there are (I think) 8 shades to choose from! It’s a yes.

  3. That Lancome foundation is the bomb! I’m almost finished my first bottle, and planning my second one!
