Music festivals are loads of fun, but they’re notorious for leaving you dirty, sweaty and not looking your best. Here’s our list of beauty must-haves for the upcoming Rocking the Daisies festival:
Dry shampoo – because you probably won’t be able to wash your hair. A few sprays will leave your locks looking and (and smelling) squeaky clean. Try one from the Batiste Dry Shampoo range.
Facial wipes – great for removing your make-up, face wipes are also handy for cleaning your hands when you’re nowhere near a bathroom, as well as cleaning up spills. We love the Johnson’s Hydration Essentials Wipes.
SPF – a daily essential, you’ll need your SPF even more if you’re spending hours in the great outdoors. Pack a broad spectrum sunscreen like the Bioderma Photoderm Max SPF50+ Dry Touch.
Lip balm – dry lips are uncomfortable and will crack if over-exposed to the sun, so be sure to moisturise with a good lip balm like the Eucerin Intensive Lip Balm.
BB cream – if you want a bit of cover but you’re not keen to apply foundation every morning, opt for a lightweight BB cream or tinted moisturiser over your SPF. We love the Chanel Les Beiges All-In-One Healthy Glow Cream SPF 30.
After sun – if you apply your SPF regularly you shouldn’t have to worry about sunburn, but even the most vigilant of us forget to re-apply every now and again. Take a soothing after sun like Australian Gold Soothing Aloe After Sun Gel and apply it all over your exposed areas, even if you haven’t burnt (it’s great for re-energizing tired skin too).
