Airbase was designed by an Oscar nominated make-up artist for every day use. It is also, unsurprisingly, used in the unforgiving world of HD TV.
They say: smooth, natural-looking foundation that lasts all day. By spraying the product, the particles are atomised and so become so small that they provide a fine, even coverage, that is water and heat resistant but still allows your skin to breathe. It also contains vitamin A to temporarily reduce the appearance of fine lines, vitamin D to moisturise and repair, and light diffusing properties for a flawless look. You can mix your own shade to get the colour match perfect – and you only need six to eight drops of foundation for one application. It will cover acne, scarring, port wine stains and still look natural.
This is what our BeautySouthAfrica.com reviewer had to say:
I was recently introduced to Airbase foundation and was amazed by the effectiveness and also how easy it was to use. After using Airbase my skin was flawless and I had natural looking skin. This is definately not a product only for the professionals but for every woman to have.
There are seven shades to choose from ranging from 0-6, with 0 being the palest shade. The bottle is basic and functional but that is because it is designed to be used with the airbrush tool. Dispensing is easy as it has a thin nozzle.
I love this foundation and have been wearing it for more than a week now. It feels so light, provides fantastic, flawless coverage and gives an almost soft focus appearance to the skin. Another bonus is that it won’t budge in the summer heat, so you won’t feel it sliding off half way through the day. It is long lasting so a great foundation if you are going to be at a function for a long time or hate the fact that your foundation disappears after a couple of hours.
