Breast Cancer beauty purchases

Friday, 23 October 2015

Lots of brands launch pretty pink products in and around the month of October. Some of the sales from the products even get donated to various Cancer Awareness foundations. We have picked a few products that do and don’t – yet they are still the perfect pink products to show your support:

pink-products

1. Sorbet Firming Body Butter Age Control, R43
An age-control body cream with pomegranate, rooibos, cranberry oil and Q10. It’s rich and creamy and is the perfect body product to get you summer-ready.

2. ghd limited edition Vintage Pink Styler, R2399
This gorgeous pastel pink ghd supports the PinkDrive. Each sale donates R239 to help fight breast cancer. Isn’t that amazing? The styler comes in a pretty pink heat-resistant roll bag too and is the original award-winning ghd V gold classic styler that has just had a pink makeover.

3. Eye Slices, R200 per set of 10
These translucent eye pads are reusable are a great pick-me up before you head out and before you apply your make-up. You only need 5-10 minutes and they will help reduce puffiness and dark circles. During the month of October, Eye Slices will donate R5 for every pack sold.

4. L’Oréal Professionnel Paris Color 10 in 1, R283
This pretty pink spray is a multi-tasking product of note. 10 Benefits in one spray! It is used on colour-treated hair for protection, can be used for detangling, for conditioning, and to help with frizzy hair, to name a few. It has a stunning smell too.

5. Clinique Cheek Pop, R350
We think this Cheek Pop from Clinique is the perfect way to show your support. It is a limited edition product, but you will be able to purchase the pretty Cheek Pop with a floral pattern online, even after this one has left the shelves. The Stay in Line range is available in 4 shades.

6. L’Oréal Paris Matte Lipgloss, R149.95
We love this bright pink shade called The bigger The Better. The bright matte shade lasts long and is easy to apply with its precise lip shaper applicator. Wear it loud and proud.

7. Catrice Illuminating Blush, TBC
The prettiest blush from Catrice has to be this Illuminating one. Brush it over your cheeks for a pretty pink flush.

8. Sampar Glamour Shot, R425
If even skin is something you are after then give this product a try. It evens out skin and is known to act as a transparent foundation!

9. Revlon Pink Happiness First Love EDT, R289
If you are familiar with the Revlon Pink Happiness range you will be glad to know they have released a new version called First Love. The pretty pink bottle is filled with a floral fruity scent and is perfect for summer.
