Highlighters, brushes and correctors, oh my! Rihanna’s much-anticipated Fenty Beauty collection has arrived and we’re freaking out!
The range is available in 1600 stores, in 17 countries – unfortunately, South African beauties don’t have a store to head to just yet, but luckily we have her website and Instagram. So we can save up and mentally buy everything!
The trendsetter is championing “Beauty for all”, and with 91 variations of products to choose from, there’s literally something for beauties of every leaning.
Rihanna proved innovation was as important as inclusivity when creating her new line of beauty products and stated, “I don’t want women to [say], ‘That’s cute, but it only looks good on her”, via Vogue.
The inclusive range consists of 40 foundation shades and 30 magnetic compacts (in matte and shimmer finishes) to highlight, contour, correct and conceal– as well as six cream-powder highlighters, brushes, blotting papers and one universal lipgloss.
We can’t wait to try the gloss because it’s said to flatter every skin tone – much like The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, but with gloss. Dubbed ‘Gloss Bomb’, it’s a game-changing rosy nude with hints of peach specs.
The products range between $20 and $39 per product (roughly R260 – R500), a small price to pay to live like Badgalriri?
The icon was 100% involved in the creation of the collection and helped ensure women of all ages, religions and skin tones could look Rihanna-ready and well, flawless. Here’s to achieving Rih’s red carpet glow-up. Head to Fenty Beauty for more.
