Such a great article, thanks! I have my wedding coming up soon (eeek!) and have been wondering which foundation to use on the day. I have a make-up artist for the day and somehow they all seem to stock MAC and only MAC. Although I like their eye and lip products, their foundations do not agree with my skin (shading is often too yellow and the texture I find cakey and thick). I love Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation as well as Revlon’s Colour Stay Mousse (for normal to dry skin) so I think I will take these along on the big day instead of chancing it with a new, unknown foundation.

Hi Cupcake. If you have acne prone skin, then the Estee Lauder & Revlon foundations should not cause break outs.

I have oily skin. I’ve been hearing good comments about the Revlon Color stay. I’m definitely going to buy it.

I would recommend Bobbi Brown out of the selection above. It’ll give you good coverage without being heavy which is a common mistake that brides make – to look more airbrushed than “glowing and fresh”.

MAC gives me that flawless finish! Will definitely be using that on my Wedding Day in December.

Estee Lauder double ware stay in place is the best foundation. I used it for years and is the best. It doesn’t rub off and looks natural. It is simply the best.

Less is more – I would go for the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation.

Completely in love with the medium coverage foundation from Bobbi Brown. It is so versatile in how you can use it for both day or night purpose.

These all look lovely! I would love to try Clarins but my skin is quite oily so I use Revlon.
