What’s keeping you busy right now?
I am currently doing work as a curvy model and have just done my first cooking demonstration at the Good Food and Wine show in Cape Town. I am also working alongside a production company to get started on my own cooking show.
What’s the one item you simply can’t live without?
I struggle with pigmentation on my face, and could not go anywhere without my tube of Estée Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover foundation.
If we were to turf out your make-up bag, what would we find in there?
A lot of make up, LOL! I use mostly The Body Shop make-up brushes, my eyelash curler, MAC’s mineralised skin finish face bronzer, Smashbox bronzer, Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat, Catrice Giant mascara, Essence Volumizing Lash Powder, Catrice Smokey Eyes Pencil, Revlon PhotoReady powder, Catrice Wet/Dry Eye Shadows in shades 020 and 040, Elizabeth Arden eye shadow and blush compact, Catrice lip glosses, Yardley liquid eyeliner, and Essence eyebrow kit with stencils.
With regards to facial skincare, what are your favourite products?
I am constantly changing ranges. At the moment I use the Premier Dead Sea Minerals Facial Cleanser, Obey Your Body eye serum, Obey Your Body day cream, Sun Protect anti-ageing facial sun lotion SPF 50, L’Oreal Collagen Re-plumper night. For my lips I discovered the Shea butter lip and skin stick by Daggett and Ramsdell, it is so affordable and the best lip treatment out there!
And how’d you take care of that bod?
I scrub my body at least twice a week with gloves and love my Body Shop body butters.
What products do you use on your hair?
I have a very sensitive scalp and find that the Head and Shoulders shampoo for sensitive scalp is very kind to my scalp. I treat my hear with Charles Worthington’s Mineral Hair Repair and make sure I always use a heat resistance spray before I style my hair. My favourite hair serum for my thick hair is definitely the Clicks Hair Rescue extra strength silicone serum.

DKNY Be Delicious Green Apple and the pink one, and Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. For winter I love Dior Addict (the original dark blue bottle), such a sensual fragrance.
What nail polish colours are you rocking at the moment?
For summer I loved my bright colours: Rimmel Pro in Coral Romance, Catrice in Fred Said Red and Mavala in Candy Pink. For winter I just went and bought a golden oldy, the colour is called Vixen by Revlon. I also like the Tip Top Black and Catrice in Dulce and Havanna.
Who’s in your little black book of beauty?
Christelle at Aesthetics by the Tygerwaterfront – she is brilliant and the absolute best in chemical peels and microdermabrasion. At the same place is Dr. Le Grange who is brilliant with more intensive procedures.
What’s the best beauty advise you’ve received or have to give?
The best advice I got, but never followed, was to wear sunblock every day. As a model I was always tanned and did not bother with sunblock that much. When you are young you feel like nothing can do any harm, but when you get older all that damage surfaces, mine in the form of pigmentation.
What is your favorite go-to handbag? The one you use the most?
I have a black Nine West bag, not that I bought it for the label at all, I just liked the shape of the bag and then I bought a clutch years ago that literally goes with any outfit – it’s the perfect size and colour.
