We chatted to award-winning local R&B singer, LeAnne, so as to find out just exactly what she does to look so darn glamtastic.
What’s keeping you busy right now?
I’m doing a lot of promo work at the moment; TV, magazines and radio interviews as well as working on my stage act, so lots of rehearsals.
What’s the one cosmetic item or styling tool you simply couldn’t live without?
My GHD no doubt! I’d have bad hair days everyday without it.
If we were to turf out your make-up bag, what would we find in there?
MAC Studio Fix foundation in NC 44, Vaseline and MAC Cremesheen lipglass in Richer Lusher.
In regards to facial skincare, what are your favourite products?
I’m devoted to Dermalogica. I use their Special Cleansing Gel face wash, Multi-active toner & Intensive Moisture Balance moisturiser.
And how’d you take care of that bod?
I love power walking, jogging and have recently started pilates! Love it!
What products do you use on your hair?
I use the Pureology range which is sulfate-free.
Which perfumes do you wear?
I love Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb! It’s an all time fave.
What nail polish colours are you rocking at the mo?
I’m kinda going through a dark phase, so deep blues, greys, burgundy and black. I love the Essie range and am wearing a hot colour called After Sex.
Who’s in your little black book of beauty?
My favourite hairstylist is Natasha at Franco International in Sandton City. My make-up guru is Piers Braybrooke. For the best waxes I see Sharon at Sorbet in Sandton City. For my brows I go to Merriam at Sandton Beauty Clinic and get my nails done at Sorbet in Hyde Park. It takes a village…
What’s the best beauty advice you’ve ever received or have to give?
Water, water, water! And to never sleep with make-up on. That’s a big no no!
