She’s been crowned Miss Earth South Africa for 2012. And BeautySA got to take a look inside Tamerin Jardine’s beauty bag…
What’s keeping you busy right now?
Public appearances and official duties such as school projects and planting trees, trees and more trees.
What’s the one beauty product you simply can’t live without?
Garnier Pure Wash, Scrub and Mask. And not forgetting the Garnier Eye Roll on to prevent dark rings and puffiness, which is my lifesaver at the moment!
If we were to up-end your make-up bag, what would we find in there?
MAC, MAC and more MAC! There’s always a couple of Jane Iredale make-up products too as well as the best mascara by Maybelline. I love make-up and have a MAC box full of make-up. My motto is, ‘You can never have too much make-up on hand.’
With regards to facial skincare, what are your favourite products?
My Garnier Pure Wash, Scrub and Mask, Garnier Nutritional Day Cream and my Garnier Eye Roll on to prevent dark rings and puffiness.
What products do you use on your hair?
I use mostly Brelil Professional Hair Products and, of course, ghd products and styling tools. It is important for me to use products that are not tested on animals as they are my passion and Brelil and ghd are anti-animal testing and Earth-friendly.
Which perfumes do you wear?
Dior Addict and Carolina Herrera VIP 212.
What’s the best beauty advice you’ve received or can give to our readers?
As much as I love make-up it is so important to have a chance to not wear make-up and let your skin breathe. Air is an element that has healing properties and it is important for us to use the products that allow our skin the opportunity to breathe.
And how do you take care of your body?
I love to put a thick layer of cream on my body, as well as going to gym for Bodytec as it fits in with my busy schedule.
What nail polish colours are you rocking at the moment?
Baby pinks and classic French manicure, but I love green and Lincoln Park from OPI.
What is your favourite go-to handbag? The one you use the most?
I always use my Grass Woven Bag, which is Earth-friendly and goes with everything. But I always have my Miss Earth SA ‘I love trees’ bag as it can be my grocery bag as well as my bag to store my laptop – it’s my all-purpose bag.
