All I can say is this product is amazing. I recently was lucky enough to test this at a friends house. At first, I was skeptical, I mean, really a precleanser, surely this isn’t needed. This product had me eating my words.
Where to start with this product:
The look of this bottle is small and petite, but don’t let this fool you. You really only need the smallest amount of this liquid gold, for a great experience, anything more is just a waste (like I said liquid gold, as it is amazing, however pricey).
The first thing I noticed was the incredible smell, rich, relaxing and unique, I can’t put my finger on the fragrance, however, I can tell you, that I felt as though I was in a luxurious spa.
When using this product you apply it to dry skin, rubbing in until you feel its time to add some water, you will be amazed at how much extra dirt, grime, and make-up gets lifted off.
With regards to the feeling of this product, I would recommend it for those who have slightly drier skin, like myself. This product left my skin feeling as though there were more moisture and oil, leaving it feeling smoother and more radiant.
I would definitely love to try this beauty again, but this time for a longer period, as if after one use I felt this great, who knows what many applications could do.
True story, every woman needs this precleanser to remove make up. I normally wear waterproof liner and mascara, and I find it so hard to remove it, especially after a long night. I find that this preclease is the only product that removes waterproof make up. Its awesome and it doesn’t burn your eyes either.
Dermalogica is my favorite brand, an essential in grooming. I’ve used Dermalogica over the last 3 years, and it would be very difficult to move me over to another skincare brand. Dermalogica precleanse provides your face with a perfect base for your skincare regime, and then as a perfect finish to remove any makeup and impurities at the end of the day. Although I got it in a trial size with purchasing other products, I enjoyed it upto the last drop, I havnt purchased it again, as Im always needy of an additional unused product from the range. Also tried the precleanse wipes, was really effective, however the normal precleanse oil lasts way longer.
I received this as a free gift after purchasing other Dermalogica products because “precleaning” was never actually something I did, much less thought other people did. But I’ve gotta say that this product is simply divine. I don’t use it everytime I cleanse though, just on those days when I have a full face of makeup. By simply using the amount the size of a R2 coin, I gently massage the oily liquid with dry hands on my dry face. It’s really effective in lifting all the grime off the face and the fresh minty fragrance has a calming effect as well. At R520 a bottle, it’s definitely on the steep side, so not part of my daily cleansing routine.
This effective precleanse oil is the mother of all pre cleansing oils. It lifts makeup sweat grime and rinses easily. Follow on with your favourite cleanser and prepped calm cleansed skin is the perfect palette for all your skin care to follow. Smells amazing and will last at least 4 to 6 months as you use very little.
I started using Dermalogica since the age of 18, and I’m now in my late 20’s. Believe me when I say there is nothing better. When I started using it in my late teens it really helped with getting my skin really clean, because I suffered from acne and knew how important it was to have clean facial skin with out drying the skin. I would use the precleanse and then use a cleanser afterwards. As I got older and started using makeup that’s when I really started appreciating it’s wonders, Waterproof make up stands no chance against precleanse. Precleanse slays it, I’ve tried a lot of make up removers but there is nothing that I can even compare to this product. I cannot live without it.
This is the one product I make sure I have spare of in my bathroom. I simply cannot live without it. I use it to remove my eye-makeup and all. I find its the only product that takes everything off in one go! It never leaves my skin feeling tight either. I cannot recommend it enough, really! It will change your cleansing routine for life.

One of the most innovative and must-have products ever! It removes make-up (even stubborn waterproof mascara) and impurities within seconds, thereby helping your skin get more benefits from your cleanser. I love the oily texture of the product, it feels really luxurious and it doesn’t dry my skin out or leave it tight. When I use this, I also know that my skin is thoroughly cleansed and I don’t have to worry about any stubborn impurities hanging on. Since first trying this product I have never gone back – I’m a double cleanse girl all the way :)
