Perfect For Stage

Robyn Skevington

I’ve been using this foundation for a little over a year now. There is a lot of product that goes a long way, especially for such a good price. It does provide great coverage that lasts a long time – which makes a perfect base for stage makeup. I’ve been using the lightest colour I could find, which is still darker than my light skin tone. I had to blend it right down to my chest everyday during a production, to make my skin tone look somewhat even. It makes me wish they had it in a shade lighter. It can be a bit too thick and heavy for everyday use which can end up looking a bit cakey. I do find it a great product overall, considering the price.

Silky smooth

I love how this product glides onto my skin and covers perfectly at the same time. I will use it only for special occasions, because it doesn’t last very long with me. Once I have applied it once I want to do it every single day.

You get what you pay for.

The mousse provides a medium coverage but is good enough to hide blemishes. However, it does not cover all freckles. The foundation is not heavy and allows the skin to breathe. I find that it does tend to start fading in the nose area throughout the day and I need to reapply. All in all, it is a good product for the price you pay.

Suitable but not light

Sunny Norwie

At first, I really liked this product, the amount in the jar is just right for the use of it, the texture of it is as implied mousse, when I applied it at first it felt strange since I was used to my liquid foundation. It’s not as much mousse as I expected, a little bit on the heavy side.
The good thing is that it has a good variety of skin tones that it covers. The price to me was fair but frankly, it is cheaper than most concealers and the quality is as expected.

I would recommend to try it at first to get used to the singular weight and texture of the product before you fully invest in this product. For me, it just wasn’t what I was looking for exactly.

Essence soft touch mousse

I purchased this mousse some time ago,I love the light airy feeling it has, great coverage and long lasting .The only problem I had was that I could not find my shade, it was either to light or to dark, my perfect shade would have been in between the two. I currently have the lighter shade which I’m not to thrilled about as its kinda noticeable.

Great Foundation

Elrese Voges

This is a really nice foundation if you’re on a budget, I’m always amazed by the Essence brand, since you’d expect bad quality but always get more bang for your buck. This gives a good coverage that stays matte all day long, I would say if you have dry skin or patches, this will make it appear drier so make sure you moisturize well with a good primer.
