I am always looking for good hair care. There are so many products on the market and it can be confusing to find one that is right for you (not to mention expensive and time consuming!).

I accidentally came accross this product one day while I was shopping at Clicks and let me tell you, it changed my life!

Packaging and Price:
This product is packaged in a dark brown cylindrical bottle. It may sound like a boring plastic bottle, however the stickers detailing the item are quite colourful and eye catching.

I love that the packaging clearly states that the product is paraben and sulfate free (major plus points!) I also love that there 8 different shampoos to choose from, each clearly stating what type of hair care they offer.

This product retails for R139.95 at Clicks. Each bottle consists of 355ml of product. So it is slightly pricey, but you do get a fair amount of product.

First impressions of the product:
Upon using this shampoo the first time, the first thing I noticed is that it has a distinct smell. Bear in mind that it is infused with bamboo oil and that is exactly what it smells like. If you are someone who does not like heavily fragranced products, the smell of this shampoo might put you off.

Smell aside, I loved the way that my hair felt after I washed it. I purchased both the shampoo and conditioner. One of the claims of this products is that “it fortifies as it cleanses, providing stronger and healthier looking hair.” I definitely agree with that statement.

I could feel my hair was cleaner without having that feeling of it being stripped. After a couple of uses, my hair did feel stronger (I have really thin hair) and it did have more shine to it.

Lasting Impressions:
I also purchased the Almond Oil shampoo and conditioner in this range. I found that using both these products alternately when washing my hair provided me with the best results. In other words, if I were to wash my hair today I will use the Bamboo Oil shampoo and then only the next time I was my hair would I use the Almond Oil shampoo.

I do this for two reasons:
1. The Bamboo Oil shampoo has that strong fragrance which I find can be a bit much for me all the time.

2. The Almond Oil shampoo is suited for fine hair and contains a “Bio3 Thickening Complex”. It is also infused with peppermint oil which is good for your scalp.

Thus, I find that this combination works perfectly for my hair care needs.

Conclusion:
Overall, I really love these products. They do what they say do and they’re sulphate free! They are a bit pricey though, but the product lasts a long time and you not require a lot of it to wash your hair.

I would definitely recommend you try them ;)
