I am always a little bit sceptical when it comes to “false lashes in a bottle” type mascaras. I had a bad experience with one once where loads of tiny little fibres went into my eye and left me sore and itchy for hours. Nevertheless, I was eager to give this new product a try to see if it was any different.
The box contains two products: a mascara tube and a second tube with a mascara wand, which is filled with tiny lash extension / enhancing fibres. The process works as follows: you apply mascara to your top lashes as you normally would. While the mascara is still wet, apply the lash extension wand to your lashes, gently coating them from root to tip. If you want fuller lashes, you just continue these two steps to build them.
I could instantly see that my lashes looked longer and fuller, but I opted for a second round of both products to get the effect I wanted. My lashes were not only noticeably longer, but I could see an increase in volume too. It looked more natural than false lashes, but one could definitely see they were not at their usual size.
I found the process easy and stress-free, and I didn’t get any fibres in my eyes! The key here is patience – don’t attempt it if you’re already late and rushing to get out the house. Take the time to apply each coat gently and carefully, or else you’ll end up with clumps. I wouldn’t opt for this mascara every day as I simply don’t have the time in the mornings, so instead I’ll keep it for weekends and evenings on the town.
