My personal experience :
• I love the packaging, the box is very pretty.
• I love the unique shape of bottle.
• The price of the perfume is reasonable considering that it is a celebrity perfume.
• I like the floral, oriental scent which added some sexiness and confidence to the user.
• Can be used day/night in fact for any occasion.
I love the top notes of orange blossom and black pepper, but it’s more casual,quite fresh but it can be easily forgotten. It’s lovely and the best from her range so far.
I don’t know if it’s a thing with my olfactory system, but I have tested all of Shakira’s fragrances available here in SA and I don’t like them. I am not saying they smell terrible or anything like that, but they just not the kind of scent I would go for. The oriental scent is really not my ally – I am more of a fruity-floral fragrance gal. Although I would have to say the Wild Elixir is the best of all the Shakira fragrances. But it’s not something I would purchase myself… I would only use it if it were given to me as a gift.
I received this as a birthday gift. To my surprise I instantly became obsessed with the product. The scent is a sweet but slightly spicy scent which is perfect for Autumn because it really makes you feel amazing! The scent is light and as the day goes, the scent fades into a calmer scent towards the middle of the day. It’s quite a nice fragrance and is also quite reasonable in price for a celebrity fragrance.
