I purchased mine in Intense Black, and I agree with the other reviewers. The formula is HIGHLY PIGMENTED, giving off that deep intense black! Q The tip makes for easy and precise application which is essential when doing the classic pin up girl eye look. I find that I can achieve this hassle free with this product. It stays on all day, is water/sweat proof, even with my oily eye lids, it did not budge! So I’m really impressed. For R200 though, it is a bit steep, so will most likely not re-purchase. I was curious about this and found it at a steal. I would ultimately prefer a wind up crayon as apposed to liquid liner.
I love a good liquid liner, and this one did not disappoint. I used the shade “Midnight Blue” which I initially thought looked black on my eyelids, but upon closer inspection I saw it was a very dark navy blue. I have also used the black one in the past, and found it was great for a subtle cat eye. It applied easily and there was no smudging, running or skipping. It lasted for most of the day, but the inner and outer corners had disappeared by 5pm, and I had to touch up before dinner. Overall I think it is well-priced and good value for money.
The eyeliner I have is a deep navy blue and applies perfectly. I usually apply a thin line and adjust the thickness after… smudging needs to be done shortly after application if that’s what you want as this product sets and then stays put. You will need a double cleanse with a makeup remover soaked on a pad and then a q-tip to get it off efficiently but this is not a biggie as your look is guaranteed to be fresh and lasting all day.
