Dr. Miracle’s Curl Care Weightless Moisturising Creme
This moisturizing cream works wonders when my curls need to be reshaped. I use it on dry and styled hair when my curls need their bounce and shape back, and I need to fight the frizz. It doesn’t leave my hair looking greasy (which similar products have done), and my curls feel soft and smooth, and the spirals are perfect. This isn’t a product that I can use on its own as my hair is too fine, but it is perfect for ‘touch-ups’. It contains very nourishing ingredients like coconut, honey and Vitamin E, and I can apply it to my hair with complete confidence that my hair is cared for (whilst looking fab). The only negative is that the menthol scent can be a bit overwhelming.
Dr. Miracle’s Curl Care Soft Hold Creme
At first the Soft Hold Creme and my fine hair did not get on. I decided to try it again and I applied it after the Curl Care Leave-in Conditioner. Ding, ding, ding… we have a winner! My curls are shaped perfectly… beautiful, soft and smooth spirals. My curls stayed put for the whole day. This cream is perfect and the combination of products really work well with my curls. Did I mention how great it smells? The soft, sweet scent smells like pudding. There is a hint of menthol, which makes it smells fresh, but not it’s overpowering. I highly recommend this product and I will definitely purchase it for myself. When the pot finally runs out! This is a brilliant bargain buy. Curly haired girls, you want this.
Dr. Miracle’s Curl Care Rehydrating Shampoo is the BEST!
I actually want to give this shampoo 6 stars! Going sulphate-free was the best thing I could have ever done for the condition of my hair, and now I found an affordable product that works just as well (if not better) thas many salon shampoos. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean and cared for. My hair is so soft that I have to remind myself to apply conditioner! Yes. It’s that good. The formula isn’t extremely foaming, but it works up a good lather in my hands if I add enough water. This means I don’t need to use a lot of product, but I don’t have to feel guilty if I use a bit more as it comes at such a great price. Once again, the only negative is the strong menthol scent. The cool tingling on my scalp is lovely and refreshing in summer, but I’m not sure if it will be quite as pleasant in winter. Will I recommend this shampoo? YES! Will I purchase it for myself? YES! It’s already on next month’s shopping list.
Dr. Miracle’s Curl Care Nourishing Conditioner
My hair is extremely dry and fine, which means I need a conditioner to soften, smooth and detangle. This conditioner ticks those boxes on most days. I would prefer if it was a bit heavier though. I need products to weigh my fine hair down a bit. I know this is what most people don’t want! If you are looking for a conditioner that’s light yet nourishing, then this may be the product for you. Like most of the Curl Care range, it has a strong menthol scent and leaves your scalp feeling cool and fresh. It feels great on a hot day.
Dr. Miracles Curl Care Leave in Conditioner
This leave-in conditioner is light and nourishing, yet it doesn’t weigh your hair down at all. My hair is very dry and after application my hair feels softer, smoother and it detangles easier. I can’t use it on its own to hold my curls though, as my hair is too fine. I think it could work well for someone who has very thick and tight curls. At this price, you can’t go wrong. I love that it contains an array of oils and that it’s paraben- and sulpahte -free. The pump bottle also makes it super convenient to use. I also like the fresh menthol scent.
I truly think that this was one of the best new releases of last year. I know of so many people who love it. It is effective (more so for normal skin), very affordable, it smells lovely and the packaging is great (as with all Nivea products). I have very dry skin, so I still need to apply body lotion after a bath/shower. I tried both variants (normal and dry) and to be honest, they felt very similar to me. If you have normal skin and hate the feeling of heavy lotions or creams on your skin, especially in summer, then this may be the product for you. Well worth a try.
