The fragrance has been around for nearly 40 years, and yet the design of the bottle – cut glass with a classic black lid – has stood the test of time. It cleverly offers a refill option, which I love the idea of. This is a very spicy fragrance – with amber, musk and sandalwood all giving it a traditional masculine feel. When I applied it initially it really made an impression on me – it’s the kind of scent people notice. After a few hours, as it began to fade, it left a more sensual, powdery scent that lingered.
