The Lipidol Cleansing Body Oil is basically a shower oil that lathers up and acts like a normal shower gel. The difference and the best part about this product is that because it is an oil, it doesn’t strip the skin of oils or dry it out through the washing or cleansing process.
The product comes in a leak proof bottle and has this heavenly citrus/lime smell which I absolutely love. It costs R87 (+-) and is available in selected Clicks Stores.
When I first used it, I first had to figure out that it works best if you apply it directly to your body instead of like your body gloves or body sponge. I think this product will really come in handy during the winter when the air is so dry and cold and dry skin is a norm. I think the best part about this oil is that when you step out of the shower your skin feels normal, it doesn’t feel dry or stretched or itchy.
