Guess has recently launched its new fragrance, Guess Girl – a seductive, floral fruity fragrance aimed at young women in their twenties. This fun, flirty fragrance was created for a youthful spirit with top notes of raspberry, melon and bergamot, middle notes of Brazilian paradise orchid combined with Provencal acacia and lilies, and base notes of Australian sandalwood and Madagascar vanilla. Although Guess Girl sounds highly appealing as a fragrance, I didn’t find it appealing in the least.

Even though the fragrance smelled pleasant, I didn’t sense many of the notes described in the perfume. I expected the fragrance to be a lot more exotic and tropical smelling. I was also annoyed at the fact that the fragrance did not last long. I actually struggled to get a decent whiff of the perfume. Most of all, I found the packaging to be rather tacky. It does not complement the smell inside at all, and only looks good when it’s photographed. I also found it to be a tad bit oily on my skin after I applied it.

Fresh and floral, but not my type of fragrance, Guess Girl is ideal for modern go-getters.
