I received the rich velvet shade from LCN to review in a very hot colour, named Extreme Heat. I was very skeptical when seeing the red with pinkish undertone because I am a nude and pinkish kind of girl, but was willing to give this shade a try for the sake of beauty. I have never until today heard of LCN but I’m not regretting this, because I had been chosen as a reviewer for this product this month.

I love the look of the container it comes in. When you close it, it has a magnet that helps close it up. Don’t you just hate lipstick that keeps opening up in your purse and ruins everything! With the LCN lipstick, I’m sure it won’t happen.

It applies quite smoothly and one coat is definitely more than enough for me. I wore it to church on Sunday morning and I received a lot of compliments from friends and family. I must say I felt very confident while wearing this shade of lipstick of LCN. My lips did not feel dry one bit and it nourishes your lips whilst wearing it.

I have not worn this shade too much, as I said I’m quite shy when attention is drawn to my lips and teeth, and I will need to pull my guts together a whole lot more if I’m going to strut my stuff in Extreme Heat.

I would definitely think of purchasing lipsticks in the LCN range as I feel it’s durable and long-wearing. It does not make your lips feel sticky or dry at all. There is a sale on the http://consumer.lcn.co.za/ website now and this shade goes for a whopping R296.00 currently.

An all-round good lipstick for all outgoing occasions.
