I really wanted to love this product so much as I am obsessed with lipsticks, have very high standards and hoard lipsticks like an old woman would cats but I did not love this one which breaks my heart. The best part about the lipstick is the packaging. It is packaged like a luxury product should be. In a way that makes you feel this product is superior to everything else. Which it was. The golden tube is elegant and classy. The box it came in had gold writing on it and looked very exclusive. The “meh” part about it was the lasting power. After applying it, it looks perfect for an hour or so. It then started to bleed and had so much micro glitter in it. Just too much for my liking. When you look at the product in the tube it doesn’t look that shiny till you apply it. I had glitter all over my face when I accidentally smeared it. It has an okay staining quality to it but nothing better than my drugstore lipsticks. The absolute worst part about this product was the smell. It smelt very strongly of floral perfume. It is overpowering and you will get an artificial perfumy taste in your mouth for hours. I don’t understand the need to bombard a product like this with so much fragrance. I don’t mind a nice smelling lippie, but this was just too much. I gave it 3 stars for the following reasons. 1 – it’s D&G, even if you hate the product, you feel fancy as ever using it. 2 – The packaging is so elegant and feminine. 3 – The colour was beautiful regardless of all the glitter.
