10 Moisturisers with SPF

10 Moisturisers with SPF 1

Just because it’s cloudy outside, it doesn’t mean you can’t get sunburnt. If you don’t have the time to apply many different products, why not get a moisturiser that does double duty?

As soon as summer comes to an end the majority of us pack our sunscreens away until the next season. Why? Because it’s commonly thought that the sun is only dangerous when it’s bright outside, and that cloudy weather means we can skip our usual SPF.

The truth is this – when it’s cloudy, UVB rays (the rays that cause our skin to burn) are less prominent, which is why none of us get burnt during winter. UVA rays (the ones that cause wrinkles and ageing), however, always shine at full intensity, regardless of the time of year or the weather. This means that your skin can get damaged by UVA rays just as easily in winter as in summer. Plus, they’re known for penetrating deeply into the skin, causing permanent damage and sun spots.

What can you do to prevent this? Make sure that your daily moisturiser contains an SPF that protects from both UVA and UVB rays. When you use a moisturiser with an SPF, you save time by eliminating an additional step in your daily routine, plus you’ll never forget to apply sunscreen, as it’s already built-in!

Try one of these SPF moisturisers this winter and stay sun-safe all season long:

  1. Moisturisers are really expensive but also so important at the ame time. I am currently using the Nature’s nurture range from Dischem. I am using the pink bottle that states its enriched with Vitamin C. Theses creams are really nice as well. I use the day and night cream

  2. Definitely, the two most important rules: Never go to bed with make-up and always wear SPF always!

  3. Thanks so helpful I cant live without sun protection. My skin burns so easily. Some sun blocks are to oily for my skin.

  4. This is amazing! thanks. I always look for products with SPF but the SPF 15 is just not enough, I feel. Will look into using one of these with a higher SPF.

  5. I have been using Neutrogena for the past 4 years now, and my skin is well moistourized and dewy and the best part for me has always been the SPF.
