I confess I have given up on using sunscreen on my face (I know, I know) unless I am on the beach because it sits on my face in a white, thick mess and won’t sink in, no matter how much I rub. So if it isn’t added to my moisturiser, well, I’m getting loads of vitamin D and sun spots and wrinkles. Sigh.
So I was a bit nervous to try Clicks Sun Protect SPF50, 50mls, R119.99. Even if it is formulated with collagen and vitamin E. So nervous I wasn’t prepared to risk it on my actual made-up face. So I used it while I worked in the garden on Sunday (potting pretty purple pansies and jasmine smelling of summer).
I was DELIGHTED. Not only by my lovely flowers, but also by the sunscreen! It is lighter than sunscreen I have used on my face before and sinks straight in, leaving a clean, clear face, with no sweaty sheen (my usual experience). I will definitely be putting some Clicks Sun Protect on my face each day, before I leave the house for the office. And it comes in a handy bag-sized tube as well, so I can reapply throughout the day.
Clicks Sun Protect anti-ageing facial sun lotion with collagen, SPF50 contains both UVA and UVB filters and is water resistant.
