Filorga Meso-sculpt anti-cellulite firming program review

Wednesday, 5 October 2011

Heard of Filorga Cosmésothérapie? They’re an innovative French cosmecuetical company that was started by a Parisian aesthetic doctor.

Recently, the brand launched an exciting new cellulite-blitzer, Filorga Meso-sculpt anti-cellulite firming programme, R1 895. It was inspired by mesotherapy which involves making lots of teeny tiny little punctures in the skin so that treatment products could penetrate even deeper into it.

Filorga Meso-sculpt anti-cellulite
Roll your orange-peel bits away with the Filorga Meso-sculpt anti-cellulite programme

So how does Meso-sculpt work?
The kit consists of an anti-cellulite firming solution in a spray bottle and a ‘stimulating roller’. The solution contains an array of ingredients that aim to bust cellulite, including caffiene, a ‘lipolysis accelerator’ (fat burner) and antioxidant-rich green tea. The idea is that you spritz it on your wobbly bits and then run the meso-roller over it, horizontally as well as vertically. Afterwards, spritz your bits once more and then you can apply your body lotion as per usual should you wish.

Unlike in-office mesotherapy, the meso-roller doesn’t hurt one bit. The needles are so tiny, you really don’t feel a thing – promise. If anything, you feel a bit of a ‘zing’ as the product penetrates deep into your skin. It’s hardly unpleasant at all and I could compare it to the buzz you feel after giving your a bod a really good exfoliation.

Hold thumbs!
Filorga has given me a meso-roller to test and I’m quite taken with it. I’ve been using it religeously both day and night, even though they say you only have to use it at night. I’m now a few days in, but should wait a full month to see a visible improvement in my skin’s firmness and a reduction in any orange peel-like texture. So, once that time is up, I’ll be sure to let you know my thoughts.

Filorga products are available at selected Edgars and Red Square stores.

Most women will never admit that they have cellulite, but I will definitely give this a try.
