Looking and feeling our best is one of our life missions. Here are some tips on how to make the most out of what you were born with.
1. Getting rid of peeking hairs
Hair sticking out from all areas, especially on your face, is not hot. Once a week, trim or pluck them to keep it under control. Your nose, ears and even brows are easy to pluck in front of the mirror. If not, having it done professionally is an option, and is affordable too.
2. Correcting your posture
It’s not something that is practised enough. Being hunched over is not attractive and not good for you either. Try to correct your posture regularly by pushing your shoulders back and holding in your abs.
3. Sneak in a gym sesh’ before date night
By working up a sweat and pumping some weights, it gets endorphins flowing, which not only makes us feel good, but will also make your muscles look bigger and give you that healthy glow.
4. Whiten those teeth
Teeth are such an important part of our body and we tend to neglect keeping them sparkly clean and white. There is nothing nicer than a smile with a set of perfect white teeth. Brush regularly with a whitening toothpaste and floss every day. If they are too far-gone, visit your dentist for a professional whitening kit.
5. Spend some money on products
Not every face wash will work for you. If you have oily skin you need to use products that will help with oil build-up, and so on. You should always include a cleansing wash, moisturiser and even an eye cream. Don’t leave home without SPF either. You will thank yourself later on in life when all your friends’ skin has aged and you still look 21.
6. Wear clothes that fit!
You may just have spent a small fortune on a wool suit, but does it fit you correctly? Wearing shirts, jackets and pants that are two sizes too big for you are not on. Go for a fitting to find out your exact size – it will make a massive difference and save you from spending money on items that aren’t your size!
There is not much one can do to prevent this. Ask your hairdresser to suggest a cut or style that will help cover the bald patch or if its a receding hairline, ask for a certain cut to move focus away from this area. If all hope is lost you could consider a hair transplant. A sexy hat may also do the trick.
8. Putting in what you want out
What you fuel your body with will ultimately show on the outside. Eat healthy, exercise and stick to some sort of a grooming routine and you will not only feel good inside, but look it from the outside.
