Hydrating body helpers

We all know the feeling of dry and irritated winter skin. Extra hot showers, layers of clothing and heaters take their toll and end up leaving us with dry, flaky skin. Take care of your skin this winter and by the time summer comes around, you’ll have so much less bikini-prep to do!

Body-products

Exfoliate your entire body weekly, and be sure to lather up with a rich and moisturising body cream or serum once or twice a day. Here, the five body products that are getting the BeautySouthAfrica team through the cold winter months:

The Body Shop Body Sorbet in Mango, R110

  1. Epimax Plus is a winner, I remember when I was on my accutane treatment. This saved my life. My skin was so dry n itchy and this was the only moisturizer that worked. I’m hooked! I would not use anything else.

  2. The Body Shop Sorbet looks edible. I have been so lazy with moisturising this winter, I will have to fix that after reading this.

  3. I am so keen on trying out The Body Shop’s sorbets. It sounds perfect for summer since they’re light without skimping out on the hydration. Their body butters have been keeping me in check this winter.

  4. Now that I am in my 40’s, my skin is not only dry in Winter but in Summer too, so I will be trying some of these products to stop the constant itching.

  5. I have recently used EpiMax or baby moisturisers for my skin. I have been missing out on great products. I would recommend Epimax because it not drying and I find it to be so affordable for the miracles it makes.

    1. I agree with you. Epi-max is an absolute gem! I had these horrible dry patches on my neck left behind from a rash and after a week of using Epi-max on it, my neck is smooth and the rash has gone away. I will recommend this cream to anyone who needs hydration. And I like that it doesn’t have a 100 ingredients. It goes to show, going back to basics works.
