What we say:
If you’re ever in need of some serious downtime, or you want to treat a loved one to a relaxing spa session, this is it! Three hours of absolute bliss in one of Cape Town’s prettiest spas is what I was lucky enough to experience at the Pepper Club in Cape Town. The Cayenne Spa at the Pepper Club is so serene that once you enter it, you completely forget about the outside world.

My treatment started off with the Intonga Stick Massage, which is a full body massage experience. I carry a lot of tension in my shoulders and this massage really helped with releasing some of the knots and tension. I found it extremely relaxing while my therapist was massaging my arms and legs, and at one point I actually drifted off for a few minutes! My favourite part was the scalp massage – I thoroughly enjoyed it and best of all, I didn’t end up with knotty hair.

Next up was my express manicure. When I arrived I chose a Morgan Taylor colour, and while I relaxed after my massage, my therapist scrubbed my hands, cleaned up my cuticles, filed and buffed my nails, and then proceeded to paint them. She did them so neatly, they looked beautiful!

Lastly I was treated to an Africology facial. I love Africology products as they’re gentle on the skin and have the most beautiful fragrances. I enjoyed the mask the most as it had such a soothing scent. My skin was glowing when I left.

All in all I thoroughly enjoyed this spa treatment. My body was completely relaxed and I felt so tranquil afterwards. The spa is beautiful and the friendly ladies on duty made me feel so at home, and made a big effort to make my visit a memorable one. I will definitely be returning, and would highly recommend this package (and this spa)!
