What we say:
I am new to the world of peels. I am also always nervous of going for one and about what the downtime will be. The ladies at Skin Renewal assured me it was a very gentle peel, made up of some lactic acid, and the rest fruit acid and mango pulp. The lactic acid will help increase hydration levels whilst the mango pulp and orange stem cells gently exfoliate and brighten the skin.
I must say it felt like a facial on steroids. It was so gentle I even asked when I was going to start feeling a tingle. It took about an hour in total as the therapist explained each step to me and then ended it off with a gentle massage. My face felt so fresh and my skin so soft. I only had slight redness, which was gone by the morning.
If you are looking at going for a peel for the first time I highly suggest this one. It will act as an introductory peel, but as I said feel like a facial. I really enjoyed it and the smell from the mango pulp was delicious. If you are thinking of going for it let Storm from Skin Renewal do your treatment!
