Question: Are There Any Guidelines To Determine If Old Creams Are Still Effective?

Are there any guidelines to determine if old creams are still effective?

Answer

That’s a very interesting question. Generally, I would say that if a cream has started to discolour or starts smelling slightly differently, then I would say that’s a pretty clear indication. In general, however, I would say try to use up your products before they reach their expiry date. If you’re nervous of applying expired product to your face, but you really don’t want to waste the products, then by all means use them on the body.
