I love recommending to "newbies" to use the less is more approach. Depending on the condition and type of your skin, you need to determine how much coverage you would need.
Foundation:
Light to medium cover- tinted moisturizer, mineral powder foundation, liquid foundation.
Medium to heavy cover- cream foundation.
Concealer:
Translucent /fixing powder ( to set the foundation).
Eyeliner:
Brow pencil in the same shade as your eyebrows.
Eye Shadows: 1 light shade to use as a highlighter on the brow bone, 2 neutral shades for day make-up, 1 glam shade to take your day make up into an evening look.
Mascara:
Either black or brown depending on your shade needed.
Blush or bronzer ( I always recommend both).
Lip gloss:
Remeber choose colours according to your work environment and personality. Have fun.
