Question: Can Make-up Expire? I Have So Much Old Make-up, Should I Throw Them Away?

Make-up can ABSOLUTELY reach it an expiration date. Here’s a quick rundown of when to toss which products…
– Powders (eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, foundation, etc) last 18 to 24 months
– Creams (eyeshadow and blush) last 12 to 18 months
– Liquids (foundation, lip liner and eyeliner) last 12 months
And then there’s mascara, which must be replaced every 3 months, and your sponge applicators, which need to be tossed after 1 month (or when they’re full, whichever comes first).
