Question: Does Vinegar Really Promote Shiny Hair?

Does vinegar really promote shiny hair?

Answer

My advice is to use a good quality shampoo, conditioner and treatment to get your hair into a great condition. Well conditioned hair shines. To use an acidic substance like vinegar, has no benefit whatsoever in nourishing the hair. It simply tightens up the cuticle because it is acid. Hair cosmetics are designed to care for the integrity of the hair, vinegar is not.
